-   lunch

Afternoon:

- traditional production of rakija,

- dinner at the restaurant „Dioniz“

- overnight stay at the motel „Marić“,

 

Day 2

Drugi dan:

-   doručak u motelu „Marić“

-   odlazak na misu u crkvu – po želji gostiju

-   ručak u restoranu uz nastup folklorne grupe

-   kušanje domaćih delicija,

-   izložba  i mogućnost kupnje suvenira Žepča

Short description: Rakijada represents an event that promotes traditional production and tasting of local brandy rakija- local "fire" drink. Given that rakija is produced from fruit, usually plums, apples, pears and grapes, this event is organized each year in the fall. Restaurant "Dioniz" in Zepce for their guests and interested tourists is organizing an entire weekend filled with different contents, from brandy tasting and producing to roasting and tasting of local delicacies and visits to various tourist attractions of Žepče town.

This tourist - gastro event also includes a promotion of traditional homemade jams, display of local dried meat, sausages and traditional smoked sausages, and similar traditional local products. The attractiveness of this arrangement is that visitors can experience and participate in the production of rakija brandy in a traditional manner, as our ancestors did it, they can taste meza - homemade dried meat, sudžuk, potatoes grilled on the flame of rakija’s cauldron, with homegrown chicken in a clay pot and other delicacies. If you want to experience something traditional, natural, Bosnian and domestic, you simply have to attend Rakijada.

 

The arrangement is especially suitable for the following target groups of visitors: foreign tourists – gastronomes, mainly of middle-aged and older generations

Individual price of the arrangement per participant: 80-100,00 BAM / 40,00-50,00 EUR

PRICE INCLUDES: price of 80,00 BAM, per person, for 2 days includes:

  • welcoming refreshments, lunch, dinner at the restaurant, (serving cold appetizers, soups, main dishe, desert)
  • unlimited consummation of rakija, juices and other refreshments,
  • refreshments with traditional Bosnian coffee (roasted by the cauldron and ground by hand coffee grinder)

The restaurant was named after the traditional name of the locality in Ljeskovica, where it is located.

It is located along the regional road R-456 Žepče - Zavidovici - Tuzla, halfway between Žepče and Zavidovići. The restaurant is a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy typical local dishes and specialties of international cuisine. The outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery is open during the summer while in winter the restaurant can accommodate up to 70 guests in the closed interior decorated in a pleasant rural style.

 

WELL DONE - Since the restaurant has been operating since 2011, it promotes  the preservation of the environment, saving natural resources and features of the local territory from the very beginning. Energy saving light bulbs are used throughout the catering facility, organic waste is used for a compost, and almost all the ingredients needed to prepare food are supplied by local farmers.

 

AROUND THE TABLE - The menu includes typical local dishes and a la carte dishes as well as a modern international cuisine. The range of aperitifs along with a standard offer of international brands also includes home-made brandy and wine produced according to a traditional recipe.

 

SURROUNDING - The restaurant is located near the natural beauty, sources of mineral waters and forests of Ljeskovica, and at a distance of only 5 km from Žepče and Zavidovići, where guests can visit various tourist facilities and events.  Tajan Nature Park and Kamenica Resort are available to curious guests in just 20-minute drive, and due to excellent location and the guests expressing interest in visiting, the restaurant has plans for future accomodations.
